“staff & food were beyond reproach - excellent” |
I stayed in the family room with my son & daughter, 23 and 26, the room was very clean and very comfortable beds. Although the room was on the main rd, it was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent with plenty on offer. I have stayed in many hotels throughout the years, so I feel qualified to comment.
Friendly staff, clean and nicley furnished room, characterful building, good breakfast, close to Windsor Great Park and town centre.
We would like to thank the staff at this hotel for allowing us to have room early we had just flown through the night and were desperate for sleep , so thanks again, and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and we have done a lot of traveling.

“Perfect!”
We spent a lovely time in Windsor, but because of the rain we spent most of our time in the hotel, and it was lovely! The staff were so polite and helpful, we spent a lot of time at the bar (lots of drinks, hehe!) and just hanging around and chatting.
The food was lovely, and at such a good price! The hotel room was gorgeous and the bed sooooo comfortable! It was also very clean which is a big plus in my books!
What was really great was when i first walked in (was meeting hubby later) they offered to take my bags up for me, which is great as there were a lot of stairs!
I love the location as it is opposite the Windsor Castle, such gorgeous views! And only a 5 minute walk from the town centre shops (when the clouds parted and let us get out for a bit, lol!)
“Excellent Windsor location and value for money” |
I am definitely going there again, want to take my family - was a little worried as my brother has MS and is in a wheelchair, but they do have wheelchair access and ground floor rooms for the disabled (which i hadn't noticed at first so i'm glad someone pointed them out to me!) So we're talking a trip there in Christmas :-D
Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Windsor Castle without being in the busy town centre. (10 min walk). Rooms and bathrooms aren't massive but for the price you are paying are definitely worth it. Would recommend paying the extra £9.95 per person for dinner as you get a 3 course meal of your choice from the small but tasty menu, making it excellent value for money.
“Comfortable & Relaxed”
The Royal Adelaide is a very comfortable small boutique hotel. It's off the beaten path in a quiet idyllic neighbourhood in Windsor making it a great location for a peaceful night's sleep. It's right beside the 'Long Walk' so maybe a 10 minute walk to the Castle and High Street and only a 15 minute walk to the train for London and other parts of England.
